TO THE RUMORED GARDEN

To the Rumored Garden carefully maps social and cultural landscapes using iconic symbols of freedom and forward movement. This four-image series points to the contradictions in the literal and conceptual values imbued in the Western landscape, exploring the modern connections and disconnections people have with their surroundings. Through this work, I also examine the pressures capitalism places on the environment and one's community.
